Frederick Wine Club Membership

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before becoming a member of the Frederick Wine Club. By enrolling in the Frederick Wine Club, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Membership Fees

a. Monthly Membership: Members will be charged a recurring monthly fee, plus applicable taxes, to the original payment method, based on the rate in effect at the time of enrollment.
b. Annual Membership: Members may elect to pay an annual fee, plus applicable taxes, to the original payment method, based on the rate in effect at the time of enrollment.
c. Adjustments: Membership rates are subject to change at the sole discretion of Frederick Wine Club.

2. Age Requirement

a. Membership is strictly limited to individuals 21 years of age or older. By enrolling, you represent and warrant that you meet the legal drinking age requirement.

3. Safe Drinking and Responsibility

a. Frederick Wine Club promotes responsible consumption of alcohol and expects all members to drink responsibly.
b. Members agree not to operate a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol at Frederick Wine Club events.
c. Frederick Wine Club disclaims any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from a member’s actions, including but not limited to consumption of alcohol or transportation decisions.

4. Cancellation Policy

a. Members may cancel at any time by providing written notice to Frederick Wine Club.
b. Cancellation requests will be effective as of the date received. Membership benefits will continue through the end of the current billing cycle.
c. No prorated refunds will be provided for partial billing cycles.
d. Once canceled, no further monthly or annual charges will be incurred.

5. Monthly Bottle Credit

a. Frederick Wine Club does not sell or ship alcohol. Partner venues hosting events serve as the seller and distributor.
b. Monthly bottle credits must be redeemed at a tasting event.
c. Members may request a bottle hold in advance; however, fulfillment is at the sole discretion of Frederick Wine Club and not guaranteed.
d. If a member cannot attend an event, alternative arrangements may be offered at the sole discretion of Frederick Wine Club but are not guaranteed.

6. Use of Image and Likeness

By attending Frederick Wine Club events, members and guests grant Frederick Wine Club the right to use their image, likeness, and/or voice recordings in social media, correspondence, and other promotional materials. Consent may be revoked by submitting a written request including full name and registered email address to the designated Frederick Wine Club member email.

7. Refunds and Credits

a. Any refunds, credits, or courtesy adjustments are at the sole discretion of the Frederick Wine Club President/Owners.
b. Membership dues are charged on a recurring basis. Inability to attend events does not entitle members to automatic refunds, credits, or carryovers.
c. Items, benefits, or experiences associated with membership are provided only to active members who participate in events.

8. Dispute Resolution

a. In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation.
b. If the matter cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding mediation administered by a mutually agreed mediator. Costs of mediation shall be shared equally.
c. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the matter shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (or another mutually agreed arbitration body). The arbitration shall take place in the State of [Insert State], and each party shall be responsible for its own costs and expenses, with arbitrator and administrative fees shared equally unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
d. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
e. Members expressly waive any right to participate in a class action or collective proceeding against Frederick Wine Club.

9. General Provisions

a. Frederick Wine Club reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the membership program at any time, with or without notice.
b. Frederick Wine Club may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting on the Frederick Wine Club website. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
c. Members are solely responsible for reviewing the most current Terms and Conditions before participating in events or activities.
d. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the member and Frederick Wine Club and supersede any prior understandings.

By becoming a member of the Frederick Wine Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
